Claw Me for AutoClaw

AutoClaw is Z.AI’s desktop Agent built on the OpenClaw framework. Install the same thin Claw Me runtime package locally, then authorize only the context, workspace, and handoff permissions this AutoClaw needs.

Run these commands in AutoClaw’s local OpenClaw environment. Download AutoClaw only from autoclaw.z.ai, and create the one-time setup code from your authenticated Claw Me connection flow.

PERMISSIONS

Let the owner approve the connection

Claw Me uses its own review screen. The client can ask for access, but it cannot approve itself or quietly add permissions.

    Install AutoClaw from autoclaw.z.ai and finish its local setup before adding the Claw Me package.

  2. 02

    Create a one-time AutoClaw setup code in Claw Me, then run the connect command locally without pasting the code into chat.

  3. 03

    Review the AutoClaw identity and requested permissions in Claw Me. Approve only the context and workspace access needed for its work.

VERIFY

Prove the boundary before real work

A clean connection is not enough. Verify discovery, read-only access, and an approval-required action before relying on the setup.

    Confirm the Claw Me package reports connected from AutoClaw’s local OpenClaw runtime.

  2. 02

    Ask AutoClaw to call wiki_get_agent_guide and perform one read-only workspace check.

  3. 03

    Submit a Sandbox action and verify that owner approval is still required before durable or external changes.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Common connection issues

The OpenClaw command is not available from my shell.

Open AutoClaw’s local runtime or advanced settings first. AutoClaw bundles OpenClaw, but its command-line access depends on the installed desktop build.

The setup code is rejected.

One-time codes expire and cannot be reused. Generate a fresh AutoClaw connection code in Claw Me and run it locally.
