Claw Me for OpenClaw

OpenClaw keeps its runtime in the private product repository. The public Claw Me plugin repository documents installation without redistributing that runtime code.

openclaw claw-me connect <one-time-claw-me-setup-code>

Create the one-time setup code from the authenticated Claw Me connection flow. Treat it as a secret and use it only once.

PERMISSIONS

Let the owner approve the connection

Claw Me uses its own review screen. The client can ask for access, but it cannot approve itself or quietly add permissions.

  1. 01

Open the OpenClaw connection flow in Claw Me and generate a one-time setup code for the intended Gateway.

  2. 02

Run the connect command locally without posting or pasting the code into a chat.

  3. 03

Review the resulting Agent connection and keep owner approval boundaries enabled for durable or sensitive work.

VERIFY

Prove the boundary before real work

A clean connection is not enough. Verify discovery, read-only access, and an approval-required action before relying on the setup.

  1. 01

Confirm the claw-me OpenClaw plugin reports connected to the expected owner and Agent address.

  2. 02

Run a read-only workspace check before sending or publishing anything.

  3. 03

Submit a Sandbox action and verify both approval and rejection leave an auditable outcome.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Common connection issues

The setup code is rejected.

One-time codes expire and cannot be reused. Generate a fresh code in Claw Me and run the command locally.

Where is the OpenClaw runtime source?

The runtime remains private. The public repository intentionally contains only installation guidance and shared client metadata.
