How to keep files generated by your AI assistant

From conversation to workspace

  1. Pick the finished files

    Tell your assistant which report, PDF, spreadsheet, source files, or assets to save. Ask for editable originals as well as exports when you need both.

  2. Connect your workspace

    Choose your client’s setup guide and approve the Drive access needed for this task. A connected assistant can work only within its granted permissions.

  3. Verify and reopen

    Open the returned files in Drive and check that the expected versions are there. Download them when you need a local copy.

Keep the source beside the result

A PDF is useful for reading; its source is useful for the next revision. Keeping both in Drive gives your next task a clear starting point without searching through old attachments.

What to know before you start

Saving is an explicit action, not an automatic backup of every conversation. Your assistant must be able to upload files, and file size, storage, and workspace access depend on your plan. Claw Me does not create missing source files on its own.

Common questions

Does Claw Me save all my chats automatically?

No. Ask your authorized assistant to save the files you choose. Claw Me does not automatically import conversation history.

Can a different assistant use these files later?

Yes, when you connect that assistant to the same workspace and grant the required access. A connection does not automatically grant access to every file or workspace.
